Hello, World
2031. That will be the year 20 years from now. I will be 30 (or so), flirty, and thriving. Well, 36. But it’s basically the same thing. Where will I be? What will I be doing? How will I have gotten there? Let’s see.
Upon graduating high school I will be going to San Jose State University. There I will major in health science. It won’t be easy since it involves a lot of knowledge in math and science, which aren’t my strongest subjects. But I am determined because I know that this is what I want to do with my life.
Once I have my Bachelor's of Science degree, I will begin my career as a radiation therapist, using machines called linear accelerators to administer radiation treatment to patients. These project high-energy X rays at targeted cancer cells, and as the X rays collide with human tissue, they produce highly energized ions that can shrink and eliminate cancerous tumors.
Having this degree will put me ahead in the field because most radiation therapists only have Associate’s of Science degrees. Radiation therapists make an average of $72,910 a year; needless to say, I will be fairly well off.
At this time, I will be married to the love of my life. We will live happily ever after in a house we own ourselves somewhere in Southern California. I will attend Pilates at least twice a week, because being physically fit is important to me. I will hopefully be driving an Audi S5 or A5, depending on my preference at the time of purchase, along with a Volkswagen Eos. My regular clothing stores to shop at will be JCrew, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Steve Madden, H&M, and Betsey Johnson.
By not having kids, I will be able to afford this lifestyle.
I am very much looking forward to the rest of my life after high school and I’m willing to do what it takes in order to achieve my goals.
